Beautiful small copper repousse dish, diameter 6", with scrolled vine leaf decoration around the rim, and a detailed picture of Iona Abbey (depicted as being roofless at this time) across the centre. The vine-scroll border decoration meets with a small repousse plaque worded "Peace to Thee, Iona" on it - one of Alexander Ritchie's favourite island phrases. Not signed - like much of his early brass and copper items - but a Scottish arts and Crafts Alexander Ritchie piece, almost certainly made in his Iona workshop. Date c.1900-1915.

Small copper repousse decoration pin tray, unsigned, Iona school piece. Foliate decoration with knotwork corner-patterns. Date c.1910.
